Tales by Light "Misunderstood Predators:Part 2"

1) The photographer is Eric Cheng. This time his main focus is going underwater taking pictures of sharks. He went underwater wearing a black scuba suit that helped with blending in with the sharks.

2) I thought it was interesting that they managed to get the plastic wrap off the shark. Since it was growing onto the shark and was so tight. If they didn't get to take the plastic off then the bull shark would have died.

3) What I learned was that sharks responded to affection. With giving affection the photographer divers got the shots they wanted and actually got the sharks to swim closer toward them and slower. Jim told a story about the shark named "Captain Ron" having a hook in his jaw which is when they discovered affection.

4) It took place in the Bahamas to join  pioneer shark diver Jim Abernethy. They took a boat and headed out toward sea. After that Jim and Eric went diving.   Next they started to head to Tiger Beach.

5) The work he does is important because without these photos other people might not have even known about the impact of people dumping their trash in the ocean. The fact is that not only can it pollute the water but is also harmful to the marine animals. Also it could make people change their thought toward the idea of sharks. They could be thinking that sharks are like the movies like "Jaws" or could be how they look. As opposed to not believing everything you see or hear.
